Shop Small Today- We Are Open Today Nov. 25th!

We are David and Sheri Burns from Long Lane Honey Bee Farms and

Happy Thanksgiving and Seasons Greetings from our family to yours!

Today is Shop Small Day across American, an effort to encourage shoppers to support local family businesses. We are open today,
Saturday November 25th! Stop on in and see us today between 10am-4pm central time. Sheri and I do not have other jobs. We give our full attention to helping others become successful beekeepers. This means your business and support is very important to us. We make our living from selling beekeeping supplies. You help us, we help you. We've made some really good friends with our customers because we are a small, family business. Make the drive and come see us today.

Walk in and purchase hives, hive kits and a limited number of Winter-bee-kinds.

We are located between Champaign/Urbana and Danville, Illinois. Take exit 206 from I-74. We are about 5 miles south of that exit. Just ask Google to take you to Long Lane Honey Bee Farms and we'll look forward to seeing you today! We will not be answering phones today.

To help us get caught up on orders we temporarily took the Winter-Bee-Kinds off line. They should go back online for sale this week. Keep checking!
These things work so great! They are such a big hit. You can replace winter-bee-kind candy boards at any temperature, as long as you can close your hive back up within a minute or two. But NEVER remove frames if the temperature is below 60 degrees (f).
Winter-Bee-Kinds allow for an upper entrance that really helps bees in the winter. Check out this popular winter feeding system by clicking here. We are not sold out yet!

Wouldn't you know it, beekeeping looks easy until you get knee deep into some sort of unexpected issue. Why not get smart and take a class. Check out our classes for 2018! They are filling up fast. Now is the time to sign up. Click here.

Where does the time go! For over 10 years we've been building hives, selling nucs,
packages, queens, teaching classes and more. Our great customers have allowed us the enjoyable opportunity to raise our family from bees. We know you have lots of options as to where to buy your hives, bees and queens. But please keep us in mind. Our country was founded on the hard work of small family business. Your support is greatly appreciated. Check out our website for :
