Crazy Time For Bees! February Beekeeping Tips

Hello from David and Sheri Burns at Long Lane Honey Bee Farms, www.honeybeesonline.com

Thank you for your continued support.

Transitioning your bees out of winter and into spring can be tricky, tricky, tricky.

DO IT WRONG OR AT THE WRONG TIME - BAD!

Much of the US is transitioning now from winter to spring and beekeepers are scratching their heads trying to figure out if they should feed their overwintered bees, when should they make splits, when can they start inspecting their hives and for beekeepers further north, when can we start unwrapping our hives.

I've just made a new video answering these questions. Check out my February Beekeeping Tips Video Below.

Watch my newest video below to help transition your bees into spring.

Don't Waste Your Time Chasing After Ineffective Bee Feeders

Spring is only a month away but with spring comes lots of spring showers. These rainy days can keep our bees from flying out for food. A new package or nuc has very little resources available on the cold and rainy days of spring when they cannot fly. A lack of food will set your hive back by weeks. Avoid this set back and keep your bees expanding by feeding them from the top with our Top Feeder. These have been very popular over the last few year. Screen keeps your bees down so you can change jars easily.

IS TAKING A BEE CLASS A WASTE OF TIME?
No, not at all. Online learning is HOT in 2022. It is FOMO! (Fear Of Missing Out). Why invest so much time and money getting started in beekeeper without knowing all you can. Do not miss out on the opportunity take an online beekeeping course with EAS Certified Master Beekeeper, David Burns. His online courses are very popular and sought out by beekeepers around the world.
