Seasons Greetings!! We are David and Sheri Burns from Long Lane Honey Bee Farms and Honeybeesonline.com. We love introducing and training beekeepers. We have sold so many hives this month as Christmas gifts. Beekeeping makes a great Christmas gift because it is a gift they will enjoy long into the future.

Here's a few gift ideas that will knock their holiday socks off:
Gift Certificates are available from our website. Keep in mind that if you purchase a gift certificate online, it can only be used online. For example, some are purchasing gift certificates so that the receiver can use them to buy packages of bees on January 1. Others are buying gift certificates so their special someone can choose the hive to meet their individual preferences.

Give Them A Class As A Gift

We have a full schedule of 2018 classes coming up. Why not buy a class as a gift. Click here for a full roster of our classes.

The Freedom Kit Makes The Complete Gift
Starting beekeeping with 2 hives is a huge advantage. It allows the beekeeper to swap frames to keep colonies equalized. If one hive becomes queenless and fails to raise a queen, simply transfer a frame of eggs to the queenless hive so they can raise a new queen. Click here for our Freedom Kit with Packages of Bees & Supplies.

Give The Gift Of Mentorship
Another gift idea is to give them the gift of our mentorship program. Beekeepers are sent beekeeping tips and videos produced by certified master beekeeper, David Burns. They are also given David's personal email, and cell phone number to call him with questions. You can purchase a 6 month subscription which will help them prepare for spring and take them through June of 2018. Click here for more information.

We appreciate that you have chosen to do business with a small family business. Our hives are made right here in Illinois. We look forward to helping you in all your beekeeping endeavors.

We will soon close out our winter-bee-kind season, so be sure and order what you need within the next few weeks. Available for either 8 frame or 10 frame hives.

We will only be selling our Winter-Bee-Kinds for a few more weeks. Hurry and purchase what you need before we close our the year. Do not allow your bees to go hungry. It is important to keep your bees well fed so they can produce the heat they need to stay alive.

We are located in central Illinois between Champaign/Urbana and Danville, Illinois.
