Are These Bees Dead Or Alive?

Hello from Long Lane Honey Bee Farms, we are David and Sheri Burns.

Beekeeping is a great hobby for the whole family or for just you. We need to continue to exercise our mind and expand our understanding of nature. Beekeeping allows the opportunity of exploring the awesome lives of bees. It's amazing to think that a tiny bug can survive a harsh winter without hibernating. How can they do this, after all they are cold blooded. All insects are cold blooded. As humans, we are not dependent upon our environment to heat us up. We are able to make and regulate our own body heat. A single bee cannot do this and will perish if left in the cold too long. In today's video, we'll talk about how a cold blooded bee can survive winter and we'll show what happens when bees go outside the hive when it's too cold and cannot make it back. Watch our newest video below and please subscribe.
